BIOGRAPHY

HISTORY

Jennifer has been working as a professional vocal coach since leaving University in 2007, with a BA Honours in Musical Theatre. She worked within the Speech Level Singing (SLS) organisation for over 6 years and in 2013, moved across to the Institute of Vocal Advancement (IVA) where she currently holds status as a Level 3 Certified Instructor.

Jennifer also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2012-2013, as well as theatre schools such as Lipa 4.19, Stagecoach, Presto Music School, Heather Baker Singing Studio and Sing Live (UK), to name a few. She has also worked as a semi-professional singer and background vocalist, mentored by Clayton Richardson, backing vocalist to the stars.

THE PRESENT

Jennifer currently works as Musical Director for The Funky Choir in Crewe, Cheshire and is resident vocal coach for the performing arts based charity, The Message Trust in South Manchester. Here she mentors young, budding Musicians on the Academy Course and upcoming bands such as BrightLine and Vital Signs.

She can also be found regularly co-ordinating Live Music Nights, fundraising for charities such as the Together Trust. Bringing a community together through Music is a belief Jennifer holds close to her heart. The studio continues to flourish as Jennifer moves forward in the IVA Teacher Training programme, supporting singers of all levels and stages to develop their vocal confidence and artistry.
